Here is what has changed on the 2013 Newmar Dutch Star!

2013 Dutch Star

Floor Plans:

• The following floor plans will be carried over from 2012: The 3734, 3735, 4324 and 4353
• The 4020, 4062, 4086 and 4342 have been discontinued for 2013
• New floor plan – 4018:
  • Replaced the 4062
  • Bath and a half layout with L-shaped Flexsteel Extend-A-Flex sofa on the door side with a 46″ LED TV with fireplace below “Televator” across the primary seating position in living area
• New floor plan – 4038:
  • Replaced the 4020
  • Similar to the 4020 but has two 74″ sofas opposing each other and a second sink in the bath area
• New floor plan – 4318:
  • Similar to the 4018 with more room in the kitchen, the half bath is on the door side and a recliner on the off door side
• New floor plan – 4347:
  • Replaced the 4346
  • 68″ straight sofa replaces the 58″ L-shaped sofa on the door side

Chassis Features:

• Hydraulic leveling jacks added on 37′ models

Electrical Features:

• Replaced decorative light fixtures above dinette with four halogen lights
• Halogen lights in ceiling and under overhead cabinets have been made standard
• Auto Gen Start has also been made standard

Exterior:

• Life cycle change – new redesigned front and rear caps
• New front hood design that eliminates exposed hinges
• All new exterior graphics with 4 color options
• New heavy duty wiper system
• Weather Pro side awing has been made standard
• Stainless steel kick plate panel below entry door
• New exterior rear view mirrors
• LED accent strip lighting below the headlights

Interior:

• New instrument cluster
• New interior decor – Mousse
• Both the Eclair and Praline decor have been carried over from 2012
• Decorative soffit on ceiling above flat floor slide out fascia
• Maple hardwood becomes standard and replaces the standard “wrapped” cabinetry
• New backsplash design
• Added feature ceiling treatment to the bedroom
• Replaced the radius bath wall with angled wall and swinging door on select floor plans
• Redesigned driver’s console with two cup holders
• Decorative wall paneling replaces wood paneling in living room and kitchen slide outs
• New plumbing fixtures throughout coach

Appliances & Accessories:

• Fireplace below TV “Televator” standard on the 4018 and 4318 floor plans
• 46″ LCD TV on “Televator” in off door slide out on 4018 and 4318 floor plans
• Side view cameras now standard on all Dutch Stars
• Weather Pro power side awning and power front entrance door awnings standard for 2013

Construction Features:

• Mechanical automatic lock arms are now standard on all Dutch Stars for 2013

Options:

• New option for lighter colored hardwood cabinetry called Verona Maple
• New option for Flexsteel Extand-A-Flex L-shaped sofa
• Flexsteel “Fold and Tumble” hide-a-bed sofa is now an option in non-flush floor slide outs
  • Allows for pull out type sofa in a non-flush floor slide
  • Available on 4018, 4038, 4318, 4324, 4347 and 4353 Dutch Stars
• New option for the Flexsteel Extand-A-Flex face to face dinette with new extendable table – Dutch Star 4353 only
• “Televator” now available on 3734 and 3735 models
• New option for one piece fiberglass roof
• New option for Clarion radio with larger integrated GPS screen
• New option for dishwasher
